Ladies Night: Molly's Birthday

Gotta love ladies night.  It was Molly's birthday (center), so we all celebrated at Somar in Oakland.  It was a good time with a bunch of lovely ladies.  We had the whole little back area, so when the dance floor got too hot (it always does), we got to dancing on the couch in the corner, by the fan.

I wore my infamous ugly dress and a vintage quilted chain purse.  My girl Rock got on her Hella necklace....I should have worn mine too!  So fun to hang out with the ladies MamaRuneTea and TheCarltess!

Just Sold: Vintage Cape and Blazer

 

I love making money in my sleep.  Sometimes I'll wake up and see a notification that something sold on Poshmark.  Heck yes.

This week's sales make me kind of sad, because these were some gorgeous vintage items that I kept myself from wearing so they could be in their best condition.  The beaded blazer was deadstock, and just had the most amazing details.  Then, this double breasted cape has been in my collection for years, and I waited until this year to release it.  It took almost half a year to sell it, and many ladies have loved it, but one lucky gal saw the value in it and snatched it up.

I hope these ladies send me photos so I won't miss these as much!

Fitted: A Chilly Day on the Beach

 

I can't just go to the beach without touching the water.  We ventured out to Santa Cruz for a day of fun, but you can't have too much fun without the sun.  Yup, it was cold, and my shorts and sandals weren't the best idea.  But luckily the sunkissed sand was warm enough to sit in, and after warming up a bit, I gathered up the courage to dip my feet in.  Refreshingly freezing, but so worth it.
